The social objective of camps for fire brigade youths is to facilitate the social life of young people, to create meeting places for the campers and to help to generate new friendships. The camp also strengthens the sense of solidarity and raises the fire fighting spirit.
The objective fire brigade camps in citizenship education is to advance young people's active citizenship, to increase their power of influence and to emphasise young people's own responsibility for their welfare. One of the objectives of fire brigade camps is to support sustainable development and advance environmental values. In addition, fire brigade camps increase tolerance.
The communicational objective is to increase the esteem and conspicuousness of young fire fighters work in the media and in society in general.
The objective of fire brigade camps is to create long-term partnerships in support of fire brigade camp activities. The co-operation partners should commit themselves to the values of young fire fighters work. Co-operation partnership should also improve of the partner's security culture.
